West Virginia LSEN hosted Dr. Levan Elbakidze from WVU, Dr. Alan Ducatman from WVU Medicine, and Maria Russo from West Virginia Rivers to discuss the latest science and clinical research of PFAS, as well as discuss the current efforts to address PFAS in municipal waters across West Virginia.

Workshop 1: I Have a Story to Tell

March 20, 11:30 am- 1:00 pm in the Mountainlair

Introduction to storytelling as a means of communicating ideas and networking.

Workshop 2: Workshopping Our Science Stories

April 18, 11:30 am- 1:00 pm in the Mountainlair

Practice sharing your "science" story and get feedback from local storytellers in a small group setting. Participants who complete both workshops will be invited to share their stories at the public event below.

Storytelling Science Open Mic

April 25, 5:30pm - 7:30pm, Chestnut Beer Hall

Newly trained science storytellers and seasoned storytellers will share their stories in an open mic setting at a local establishment in Morgantown.
